Social Enterprise and Workforce Development

PUKAT Denpasar believes that workforce development and social enterprise are key tools for empowering individuals, creating jobs, and reducing poverty in the Catholic community. Through these initiatives, we help young professionals, migrant workers, and families gain access to job training, business mentorship, and sustainable economic networks.

The Challenge

Too many individuals face unemployment or underemployment, struggling with economic changes and an uncertain job market. Without access to proper opportunities and guidance, the cycle of poverty continues—impacting not only individuals but also their families and communities.

Our Response

PUKAT’s Workforce Development Programs equip members with skills, career coaching, and job readiness support to pursue meaningful employment or self-employment.

Our social enterprises provide real learning environments that generate income while reinvesting profits to sustain other PUKAT initiatives.

Food production and beverage businesses

Thrift shops and second-hand goods stores

Home repair and maintenance services

Urban farming and local market programs

Tailoring and product design workshops

Every contribution, big or small, helps restore dignity and build stronger communities.

The Impact

Participants achieve greater economic independence, improved life stability, and reduced reliance on external aid. They also become part of an active, supportive Catholic business network that values faith, integrity, and service
"And whatever you do, do it from the heart, as for the Lord and not for others."
